Petit on El Clasico: 'We saw that Barcelona are much better than Real'
1
Emmanuel Petit has commented on the rivalry between Barcelona and Real Madrid this season.
The Catalan team won all 4 matches against Madrid in all competitions.
El Clasico belonged to Barcelona all year.
"It was like that all season between the two clubs – many goals, a spectacular show. It’s like watching two boxers take turns throwing punches, waiting to see who gives up. But in the end, Barcelona won every match against Real, despite the many goals from Mbappe.
"We all saw that, as a team, Barcelona are much better than Real. Mbappe can’t win these kinds of matches alone – he needs a proper team around him, and that wasn’t the case throughout the season," said the former Barcelona and France international.
