Salah's quest for Premier League record hinges on final game

Mohamed Salah's pursuit of breaking the Premier League's goal involvement record continues, with the Liverpool forward still one shy of the mark.

Despite a disappointing miss in Monday's defeat to Brighton, Salah remains focused on achieving the feat.

Two months ago, Salah seemed poised to shatter records, boasting 27 goals and 17 assists in 29 matches.

However, a slump in form has seen him add just one goal and one assist in eight matches, leaving him one goal involvement short of the record.

With one game remaining – against Crystal Palace at Anfield – Salah still has a chance to make history.

"Hopefully I'm going to break [the goal involvements record] soon. It's something pushing me forward to just keep going and keep working hard," he said after securing the Premier League title.

The Egyptian's determination and form will be crucial in deciding whether he joins the record books.
