Barcelona make €60 million more than expected after remarkable season under Hansi Flick
Barcelona are smiling home with almost €60 million more than was budgeted for at the start of the season after an immense season under Hansi Flick.
Barcelona president confirmed this when he said: "We will earn €950 million [this season] and next season we will budget for more than €1 billion."
Barcelona estimated they will make 893 million for this financial year. However, things changed for the best when Hansi Flick guided the team to win a domestic treble.
On top of that, Barca reached the Champions League semi-final, which brought even more money to the club's coffers.
President Laporta projects that the club will earn over 1 billion euros next season, but that depends on the team's sporting success and how quickly they can return to Camp Nou.
