'Laporta told me': Spanish journalist claims Nico Williams is Real Madrid fan

Journalist Talha Ahmad claims that Nico Williams is a fan of Real Madrid, as revealed by Barcelona president Joan Laporta.
"I asked Joan Laporta about the failed deal for Nico Williams to Barcelona. The president told me Nico supports Real Madrid," Ahmad says.
It's hard to confirm such a story, but Williams did reject Barcelona last summer, opting to stay in Bilbao.
Now, Real Madrid are reportedly pushing to sign Williams to boost their attack ahead of next season.
