Inzaghi: 'We want to beat PSG and crown a journey that began 4 years ago'

Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has expressed his team's determination to win the Champions League title against Paris Saint-Germain in the upcoming final.

Speaking ahead of the match, scheduled for May 31 in Monaco, Inzaghi reflected on his team's journey to the final, highlighting their impressive performances against tough opponents like Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

"We have had a great journey," Inzaghi said, crediting the team's success to everyone's hard work and sacrifice.

He also recalled the 2023 Champions League final against Manchester City, saying, "We played on equal terms against a very strong team like Manchester City. We probably deserved to play extra time."

Addressing concerns about Inter's average age being higher than PSG's, Inzaghi dismissed it as a problem. "I don't think it's a problem.

On the contrary, it helps you a lot in certain moments of important matches. I have a group of great players, but above all great men."

Inzaghi emphasized the importance of the final, saying it would be the culmination of a great job that started four years ago.

"We want to give this great joy to our fans. We will try with all our strength."

With their sights set on European glory, Inter Milan is ready to face off against PSG in what promises to be an intense and thrilling match.
