Jurgen Klopp donates €100,000 as he becomes LFC Foundation ambassador
Liverpool CEO Billy Hogan has revealed that former manager Jurgen Klopp made a generous donation of €100,000 when he agreed to become an ambassador for the Liverpool FC Foundation. The contribution will support the foundation’s ongoing community projects across Liverpool.
The announcement was made during the Foundation’s Gala Ball, held on May 23, 2025, at Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral in partnership with Forever Reds. Klopp’s support further cements his legacy both on and off the pitch.
Klopp joined Liverpool in 2015 and departed in 2024 after managing 489 matches. During his remarkable tenure, he delivered a historic period of success, including: UEFA Champions League title, Premier League title, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, FA Cup, 2 League Cups, Community Shield, Named World’s Best Club Coach.
