Desire Doue replaced Kvaratskhelia in Coupe de France final due to mild headache

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the Georgian winger for Paris Saint-Germain, has been named on the bench for todays Coupe de France final against Stade de Reims. According to Le Parisien, the decision comes after Kvaratskhelia reported a mild headache, leading coach Luis Enrique to opt for caution and leave him out of the starting lineup.

In his place, 19-year-old Desire Doue started, joining Ousmane Dembele and Bradley Barcola in the attacking trio. Doue has been in impressive form this season, contributing significantly to PSGs offensive play. His inclusion underscores the depth and versatility of PSGs squad as they aim to secure the French Cup title.

PSG enter the final with a strong record, having already clinched the Ligue 1 title and the Trophee des Champions this season.

A victory today would add a 16th Coupe de France title to their honors and set the stage for a potential treble, with the UEFA Champions League final against Inter Milan scheduled for next week.
