Galatasaray offer over €10m net salary to Leroy Sane - reports
Leroy Sane's future at Bayern Munich remains uncertain as the German winger evaluates multiple options ahead of his contract's expiration in June 2025.
According to Florian Plettenberg, Galatasaray have submitted a substantial written offer to Sane, proposing a net salary exceeding €10m per year. This lucrative proposal underscores the Turkish club's ambition to secure the services of the 29-year-old winger.
Interest in Sane isn't limited to Turkey; Premier League clubs and Napoli have also made inquiries, reflecting his appeal across top European leagues. Despite this, Bayern Munich are keen to retain Sane and have presented a contract extension offer. The proposed deal includes a reduced base salary of approximately €10m gross annually, supplemented by performance-based incentives that could elevate his earnings to between €14–16m per year.
Bayern Munich have expressed a desire to resolve the situation promptly, with sporting director Max Eberl emphasizing the club's intent to secure Sane's future. Nonetheless, they have also indicated that their current offer is final, and they may consider alternative plans if an agreement isn't reached soon.
As the summer transfer window approaches, Sane faces a pivotal decision: accept Bayern's extension offer, pursue a new chapter with Galatasaray or another interested club, or potentially enter free agency. His choice will significantly impact both his career trajectory and Bayern Munich's squad planning for the upcoming season.
