Arturo Vidal to pay 800,000 euros for the nightclub incident

The Munich court has decided on Arturo Vidal's punishment for a nightclub assault that happened in 2017. According to German media outlet TZ, the then Bayern player hit a person in the head with a bottle of vodka resulting in the victim's serious injuries. Vidal will be fined 800,000 euros.
Vidal's brother Sandrino and his father-in-law who also participated in the incident will pay 20,000 and 41,000 euros respectively, Marca report. The Spanish paper also claim that none of the accused were present at the court in Munich on Wednesday.
On September 30, 2017, Arturo Vidal got involved in a disco brawl. He was with his half-brother and father-in-law when the argument started. Eventually, they hit someone with a 3-litre bottle on the head. The alleged victim would have had to stay home for 2 weeks due to a laceration and traumatic brain injury.
