Top source: Barca dressing room wants Pogba's arrival
- His French teammates Dembele and Umtiti push for a reunion
- Veterans and Valverde also back the club to sign the midfielder, however, some scouts have doubts
- Pogba could be unsuitable for Blaugrana tiki-taka model
- However, he is also regarded as the right man to end Barca's UCL drought
According to English top source Daily Mail, Barcelona dressing room hold a unanimous opinion: Manchester United star man Paul Pogba could improve their team significantly. First of all, he is welcomed by his France national team colleagues - Ousmane Dembele and Samuel Umtiti who are close friends following this summer's World Cup success.
However, more influential veteran players, such as Gerard Pique and Lionel Messi, back the club to orchestrate this bold signing. The coach, Ernesto Valverde, is also keen on the potential deal.
Only several members of the Blaugrana scouting team have doubts about Pogba as they believe the midfielder won't fit into Barca famous tiki-taka model as he lacks positional sense and often takes unnecessary risks with the ball.
In any case, Barcelona players and the manager are sure Pogba is the right man to end the club's Champions League woes as the Catalan giants haven't won in this prestigious international clubs' tournament since 2015.
By the way, previously it was reported in the Italian press that another Barcelona player wants Pogba at his team: former Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal is eager on this reunion. The duo worked miracles in Italy as they led the Old Lady to the Champions League final in 2015.
Barcelona have long been linked with Paul Pogba's arrival following the strange rift between the Frenchman and the Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho. The only obstacle could be the money as the Catalans are lacking funds to orchestrate this transfer. United are expected to demand as much as £89m for their star man while the player's agent, Mino Raiola, would also require a hefty bonus.
