ESPN: Chelsea consider penning Roma winger Cengiz Under
- Chelsea are competing with a host of PL clubs for the promising 21-year-old winger
- No formal offer has been made as of yet, however
- The player himself is eager to move on with the valuation for his talents being around £40-50m
Roma striker Cengiz Under is being currently targeted by several Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City, ESPN believe, citing their own sources 'close to the player'.
The news outlet goes on to say that all of the mentioned clubs have made inquiries into the 21-years-old's situation at the club, but the official transfer offer is not yet on the table.
ESPN adds, that 'Under is open to a Premier League move and that his representatives are growing increasingly frustrated with his contract situation.'
The Turkish winger is prepared to stay until the end of the season at the Gialorossi, but for the next term, he is eager to orchestrate a move.
Roma are expected to slap a £40-50m price tag on the player. They intend to profit on an investment of €13.4m, that they made in the summer of 2017, signing Under from Turkish side Basaksehir.
Since the start of the season, the Turk has already scored four goals and provided his teammates with five assists in five appearances. Most notably, the winger has scored two goals in the Champions League as well as in the Serie A.
