Inter Milan's defender hits out at media for spreading rumours on Man United move
- Milan Skriniar has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford last summer.
- However, the 23-year-old has slammed any suggestions about his soon exit from Milan.
- He posted an image of a Slovakian newspaper covering his move away from Giuseppe Meazza Stadium with a caption 'You are sh***. Now write an article on this'.
Inter Milan's centre-back Milan Skriniar has attracted the interested of a number of European top club including the likes of Barcelona and Manchester United. However, now his soon departure from Giuseppe Meazza Stadium seems almost impossible.
The 23-year-old has posted an image of a Slovakian newspaper covering his move away from Inter Milan in January on Instagram adding a caption to it.
"You write things that you don’t even know, " the Slovak wrote. "You are sh***. Now write an article on this."
Speaking to ESPN FC in late October, the 23-year-old claimed that he was flattered by alleged interest from Jose Mourinho, who lost his job at Old Trafford on December 18.
"When some coach like Jose says that he is looking for a player like me or somebody else, it's always nice, but I don't know why these rumours continue," Skriniar said. "I've not said anything to anybody, just what you can see on the web.
"Even if Jose is one of the most famous, best, greatest coaches in the world, it's not something I think of because I'm playing for Inter and am happy here at Inter.
"I'm happy in Milan, it's a great city, even when my parents or friends come here, we have a look around and I'm happy here and relaxed here. When the results are going well too, it's all even better."
