Chelsea reveal condition for Bayern Munich to complete before signing Hudson-Odoi
- Chelsea reportedly want Bayern to include a buy-back clause in Hudson-Odoi's transfer deal.
- Bayern are reluctant to do that, as Callum's price can explode if he shines in the Bundesliga.
According to media reports, Chelsea might accept Bayern Munich’s offer for Callum Hudson-Odoi if the Bundesliga giants agree to add a buy-back clause to the agreement.
Bayern are willing to bring Callum to Germany, their latest bid reaching £35million. Chelsea, of course, would love to make the teenager stay at Stamford Bridge but Hudson-Odoi has only 18 months left on his current deal and warned his side he wouldn't sign an extension if Bayern's offer is turned down.
Chelsea really trying to keep Hudson-Odoi hostage let the man go without a buyback clause or risk losing him for free in 2020. #BayernMunich— Tati (@DineroTatiana) January 12, 2019
The Times claim Chelsea are ready to offload Callum but on one condition - they want Bayern to include a buy-back clause in the deal. Bayern surely don't want to agree to that.
With Nemanja Matic the Blues had to pay four times their sale price to bring him back to Stamford Bridge and they are not going to repeat the mistake once again.
More questions should be asked over Hudson-Odoi’s real motivation for leaving. Hazard may leave in the summer, Pedro is 31, Willian is 30. There is every chance Hudson-Odoi could be Chelsea’s main winger in 6months. Yet, the lad is still refusing to sign a contract.— Lo (@Loreanzo_) January 12, 2019
On Friday Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri slammed Bayern for holding secret talks with Hudson-Odoi. The manager accused the German top flight of disrespect saying: "I think it is not professional. They are talking about a player under contract with Chelsea, so they didn’t respect our club I think. I am very happy with the player, he is improving a lot."
