MARCA: Casilla out, Lunin will stay at Leganes until the end of the season
- Kiko Casilla is out of Real Madrid, being seen in Madrid's Barajas Airport leaving to England to join Leeds United
- Andriy Lunin will remain a goalkeeper at Leganes until the end of the season with the rumour of Madrid wanting to recall his loan proving untrue
- This leaves Los Blancos with Luca Zidane as third-choice stopper for now
Casilla's rumoured move to Leeds United is a certainty now, with the player photographed leaving Madrid in the city's airport. The goalkeeper is set to feature much more now with Leeds obviously ready to provide him with more playing time. In the end, it's not such a bad thing. Kiko needs practice and might return at some other point in time to offer his newfound experience.
Lunin will stay at Leganes until the end of the season with the club not willing to terminate his loan spell.
Andriy Lunin was the closest to a Madrid keeper at the moment. The player is currently on loan at Leganes and there recently have been reports of Huesca wanting to sign him on loan as well, until the end of the season. Earlier today there were reports of Madrid planning to bring the player back in order to prepare for Kiko's exit.
All this presents an opportunity for Luca Zidane to step up in the future as he is the current third-choice option for Santiago Solari.
