Wolves complete £15m deal for Atletico Madrid's full-back
- Johny Castro Otto, Atletico Madrid loanee has officially become Wolverhampton's first signing of the January transfer window
- Spanish fullback joined Wolves in the summer
The 24-year-old Spaniard has become Wolves' first signing of the January transfer window for a reported fee of £15m. His new deal runs until 2023.
Atletico Madrid acquired the player in 2018, sending him immediately on loan to Celta Vigo, which was followed shortly after by a yet another loan spell at Wolves - the player has made 22 appearances for the Premier League side and was an instant success with the Premier League side.
"I'm really happy to continue to be involved with the team," he said. "I am very happy here, the truth is that it was very easy to decide.
"They are treating me very well, there are great staff, great team-mates and great supporters."

Funnily enough, the 24-year-old has never played for his parent club, Atletico Madrid.
