From worst to best: 3 potential summer transfer scenarios + possible XIs

The coronavirus crisis will inevitably affect clubs' transfer market activity in the summer. It's not yet clear what will be the extent of the impending crisis.

What we already know is that players' estimation has plummeted dramatically while clubs are hoping to finish the current campaign to limit the negative knock-on effect of the broken season.

Arsenal agreed with a majority of players on a 12.5 per cent wage cut as Stan Kroenke has promised to inject millions of his own money to help the club live through the financial storm.

While Raul Sanllehi has expressed huge doubts over any big-money acquirements we should not discard high-value additions at all.

Last summer, Arsenal brought in Nicolas Pepe and William Saliba along with 4 more players which cost us almost £130m in total, while media reports had insisted on Arsenal's 'stringent' transfer budget of around £40m or so.

So, let's have a look at three basic scenarios as we believe Pablo Mari will be signed regardless.

Worst

Ceballos leaves, Aubameyang and Saka are sold. We sign just 1 player at best with one or two Gunners (probably Sokratis or/and Shkodran Mustafi) are sold to raise cash for a new addition (Axel Disasi from Reims for around £13m, for example).

Moderate

Ceballos leaves, we keep all players without extending Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Bukayo Saka's contracts, acquire 1 top target (Thomas Partey).

Best

We keep all our players, extend Dani Ceballos' loan spell, Aubameyang and Saka sign new contracts; we acquire two more priority targets (Partey and Dayot Upamecano).
