The Uruguay international is back in full training after suffering an ankle injury against Portsmouth. His availability in the Norwich game will be determined before the game.

Was ruled out of Sheffield United FA Cup tie because of back pain. Being assessed ahead of the Wednesday fixture.

Forced off with a knee injury at Bramall Lane. The defender is not ruled out of the Norwich clash and will be assessed later.

Long-term absentees

Sustained a ligament injury against Brighton, aims to return to training in four weeks.

Picked up a knee injury in training. Rehabilitation period not determined yet, underwent a 'successful arthroscopic procedure'.

  • Calum Chambers

Sustained an ACL injury against Chelsea in December last year. Continues rehabilitation after injury.

Picked up an ankle damage against Man City. Will not be available this season, rehabilitation expected to take between eight and twelve weeks.

Arsenal return to Premier League action on Wednesday. The game kicks off at 20:00 (UK Time). The clash against the Canaries will be the first game at the Emirates since the restart.
