Philippe Coutinho reportedly visited London Colney to discuss possible move

According to the Gooner Fanzine, Philippe Coutinho and his representatives were at London Colney on Friday.

We can't say much of the reliability of the source and their 'exclusive' report. Probably, it's just another rumour. It should be mentioned that already on Saturday, he featured in a 4-1 thrashing of Chelsea in the Champions League, coming on as a sub in the second half.

The report says they spoke to a 'well-placed source' at the club, who confirmed the Brazilian had visited Arsenal's HQ to discuss a possible summer move.

It is added that the Gunners after the FA Cup win can afford to sanction a fee of around £40m to land the attacking midfielder.

Earlier, The Sun insisted that 'ambitious' Arsenal are ready to spend as much as £100m to bolster the squad, though Coutinho wasn't mentioned in that report.

As per the Telegraph, Willian's expected move to the Emirates will block Coutinho's transfer.

The Independent claimed Barcelona offered Arsenal the 28-year-old for just £9m in a part-exchange deal with Matteo Guendouzi.
