There's a lot of bad blood between Arsenal and Spurs, this being a local rivalry and all, so when the Gunners' captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang knocked Mourinho's side down a peg during a Twitch live stream, we got a real kick out of it.
"What do we think of Tottenham? Ha. S**t, we know," he wrote in reply to the question on Arsenal's North London neighbours.
Back in 2013, Auba was also not exactly full of praise for Spurs, revealing their awkward attempts to sign him up.
"Tottenham tried to sign me in June 2012," he said via The Daily Mail. "'But in the end, everything became a bit weird. I didn't really like the way things were done. If Spurs ever came back in for me, I'd say no."
"I was at Tottenham, had a tour of the stadium and the training ground. We held talks," Aubameyang told Bild before several years later. "But after that nobody contacted me again."
Well, we are nor surprised at all. Small-club mentality and penny-pincher doing transfer deals. You only need to look at the exciting players Spurs are bringing in this window (Joe Hart and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, in case you were living under a rock the last few weeks) to determine the size of their ambition.
Now we just need Auba to sign on the dotted line and bad a hat-trick against that lot down the road. Easy-peasy, especially the hat-trick part.
