10 years ago, 3 Gunners made Football Manager's wonderkids list: here is how they have fared since

A Reddit user nicknamed Hessenuk has found a list of wonderkids in Football Manager 2011. The list, released in 2010, included 33 players who the game's extended network of scouts believed would develop into world-class players.

And some, like David De Gea, Toni Kroos and Neymar, have done exactly that. Some others, like Alexandre Pato, Serhiy Kryvtsov and Sebastián Coates have faded into relative obscurity.

The list included 2 Arsenal players and a man who would join the Gunners three afters after the list had been released.

Jack entered free agency in October this year after tearing up his West Ham contract. He is actively looking for a new club as he wants to play first-team football. Injuries have had a detrimental effect on his career but Wilshere fights to stay in the game.

Overall, he made 197 appearances for the Gunners before leaving the club in 2018. When the FM 2011 list was drawn up, he had already been capped by England and was a regular in the Arsenal midfield.

Arguably Jack's best goal in his career so far:

Ramsey is now at Juventus. The Wales international left the Gunners in 2019, with Juventus snapping him up on a free. His exit still hurts as Arsenal have not filled the hole left by his departure.

Aaron's career in Italy has not been successful so far, as he has made just 41 appearances across all competitions, many of which came as a second-half substitute.

He featured in 369 games for Arsenal, scoring 64 goals in the process. You can safely say he has come the closest to fulfilling his potential among the three Gunners represented.

And Sanogo, who remains in the memory of Arsenal fans as one of the worst signings the club has ever made, is currently a free agent after his Toulouse contract expired in June 2020.

The overhyped striker played just 20 games for the Gunners in the space of four years, scored one goal and left the club in 2017.
