The COVID restrictions are slowly easing up around the UK.
- UK's health secretary Matt Hancock has confirmed fans will be able to attend outdoor sporting events from December 2 onwards - albeit in limited numbers.
- The number of fans allowed into the stands depends on the tier of a particular area in the UK.
- Tier 1 places will see 4000 supporters present, Tier 2 only half that at 2000 and Tier 3 locations will continue to be locked down.
- London was deemed a Tier 2 location, which means 2000 fans can attend Arsenal's December 5th game vs Spurs.
- The last time the Emirates welcomed spectators in was on March 7th vs West Ham.
