One curious stat about Arsenal's European campaign so far - Gunners only achieved it once before

Arsenal's win over Rapid was their 5th straight in the Europa League this season. The Austrians were beaten home and away, Molde were put to the sword likewise and Dundalk suffered a heavy loss at the Emirates.

It's only the second time in Arsenal's history that the Gunners won 5 group stage games in Europe in a row, the first one being ... the 2005/06 campaign.

We went ahead and checked what happened in the last group stage game that season: Arsenal played out a 0-0 draw at home vs Ajax.

Funnily enough, Wenger's men only won by more than 2 goals once during that run - Arteta's troops won by 3 or more 4 times already. We are not suggesting the current side is better than the 05/06 team, by the way.

Hopefully it's a sign of things to come. Barcelona will most surely not be able to stop us from winning this time around.
