The Brazilian is set to play for the first time in several months!
- According to journalist Chris Wheatley, Gabriel Martinelli is set to make a return on the pitch for the U23s against AFC Wimbledon in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday evening.
- The Brazilian has been sidelined since June 21 when he picked up a knee injury in training that required surgical treatment.
- Last season, the forward scored 10 goals and provided 4 assists across 26 games in all competitions.
- Sokratis Papastathopoulos and William Saliba are set to take part against AFC Wimbledon as well.
