Gabi played 45 minutes for the Academy side.
- Gabriel Martinelli, Sokratis and William Saliba have been named in the Arsenal U21 side's starting XI against AFC Wimbledon in the EFL Trophy.
- This is the first time Gabi has played a competitive game since March.
- The forward picked up a knee injury in June and is in the final stages of recovery now.
- Martinelli played 45 minutes and was subbed off at the break. He had a header saved and did a good job pressing the opposition's defenders.
- Meanwhile, Saliba was having an impressive game before being sent off in the 89th minute. The game ended 3-0 for Wimbledon.
