Mustafi and Kolasinac forced to run away from angry fans after Schalke’s relegation from Bundesliga

Schalke’s players – including Shkodran Mustafi and Arsenal loanee Saed Kolasinac – had to flee from an angry mob after their 0-1 loss to Arminia Bielefeld on Tuesday.

The defeat confirmed Schalke’s relegation into the 2.Bundesliga and the fans were left infuriated by that.

A video of the incident has transpired in which the angry mob can be spotted chasing multiple players, with Mustafi and Kolasinac also being among those running away in fear.

Schalke have condemned the act of their fans after the defeat and while not recognized this incident, they’ve confirmed that players were verbally abused and eggs were thrown on them by the fans.
