According to Goal's Charles Watts, Arsenal are yet to lodge a bid for Andre Onana.

He says both Mikel Arteta and Edu are big admirers of the Ajax goalie and they've already held talks with the Camperoonian's representatives.

But the uncertainty over Bernd Leno's future complicates the situation for the Gunners as Onana wants to play for the club where he'll be a first-choice option.

The 29-year-old earlier said he's open to a new challenge. But the Gunner is currently with Germany at Euro 2020 and he doesn't want to speed up a final decision on his future until the competition is over.

The journalist says the Gunners can't afford to delay a decision on his transfer as more and more clubs will enter the race for the keeper after CAS reduced Onana's ban.

He says some Premier League side that finished in the top 8 last season have enquired about Andre and there is also strong interest from clubs in France.
