Just yesterday, we reported about Arsenal's interest in Albert Sambi Lokonga. And according to The Athletic, the Gunners have tabled a bid of €15m.
However, it's understood that the Belgium outfit are holding out for a fee in the region of €20m.
The 21-year-old has made 7 appearances for Belgium Under-21s and got a callup for the senior national team in March. Belgium manager Roberto Matinez touts Lokonga as a player to watch over the next two years.
“I will not go to a club which is inferior to Anderlecht,” Lokonga told the Belgian media last month.
“I will only leave Anderlecht if all the ingredients are there. Yes, I feel ready to take a step forward and rub shoulders with great players, but everything will depend on the proposals that will be made during this summer.”
The Belgian is known for his superb passing, dribbling and shooting ability. He can play at the base of midfield or in a box-to-box role.
Last season, he made 27 league appearances managing 3 goals and 2 assists.
