'Ideal Laca replacement': fans gush over Alexander Isak after masterclass v Slovakia

Alexander Isak deservedly grabbed the Player of the Match award for his performance in the Sweden v Slovakia game.

The striker created several chances for himself and his teammates, including playing a crucial part in a move that won a decisive penalty for Sweden.

Isak showed Bergkamp-esque first touch and vision as he played a ball forward to Quaison, who was fouled by Slovakia keeper Dubravka in the penalty box. Sweden scored the only goal of the game from the spot-kick.

Isak receives the ball a few metres away from the penalty box:

He spots Quaison's run and flicks the ball forward. He did it in one touch!

Dubravka wipes off Quaison and the ref points to the spot.

Arsenal are said to be keen on landing Isak this summer.

As the Slovakia game shows, the 21-year-old is capable of providing gorgeous assists in addition to his natural scoring instinct (17 goals in 34 La Liga games for Real Sociedad last season).

So the Gunners faithful on Twitter are very excited about the prospect of signing the Swede.
