Ben White starts every game, Maddison in there: 2 Potential Arsenal XIs if rumours were true

With Granit Xhaka set to leave and the likes of Dani Ceballos, David Luiz and Martin Odegaard all saying goodbye to the club, Arsenal must sign some new players this summer.

Here are two possible lineups Mikel Arteta could play if rumours were true.

4-3-3 with Maddison in there

Arsenal have been heavily linked to Leicester City midfielder James Maddison.

The Englishman is highly creative, can shoot and is magnificent with a dead ball. One can only see him slotting into Arteta's starting XI.

Meanwhile, Ben White has also been rumoured to be on Arsenal's radar. There's some vacancy in our defence and White could come in and fill it.

Would be hard to bench him too if he plays as good as he did for Brighton last season which earned him a spot in England's squad for the Euros.

Arsenal XI: Leno; Tierney, Gabriel, White, Chambers; Partey, Smith-Rowe, Maddison; Saka, Lacazette, Aubameyang.

4-2-3-1 with Bissouma

Another Brighton man who's been linked with a move to the Emirates is Yves Bissouma.

Signing the Malian will in no small measure solidify Arsenal's midfield - particularly with Xhaka leaving.

What Arteta could do is play a double pivot at the base of his midfield with Bissouma partnering with Thomas Partey.

White still locks down his place in defence, this time with a centre-back partner in William Saliba.

Arsenal XI: Leno; Tierney, Saliba, White, Chambers; Partey, Bissouma; Smith-Rowe, Saka, Martinelli, Aubameyang.
