Future settled? What Arsenal XI may look like in 2-3 years with hottest talents and possible transfers

Tribuna projects our squad into the future to see what look it may have in a few years when our promising kids will finally mature with a couple of possible additions.

So, Arsenal are set to have a busy summer and strengthen a few positions with several players expected to leave. In particular, we are targeting central and attacking midfielders, a right-back, a goalkeeper and surprisingly a centre-back.

Onana, White, Okonga seem to be the most likely additions this summer as of now. We suggest that Aarons and Maddison could join us in the present transfer window.

However, there is no clarity over the future of some players. For example, Leno. If he eventually stays it might affect our transfer plans.

Anyway, let's look at what could be our squad in a few years.

Balogun should lead the line when Auba and Laca leave the club. Saka, Smith Rowe and Pepe will support the Hale End product in the final third. Lokonga will complement Partey in midfield. Tierney, Gabriel, White and Aarons will form the back four with Onana in goal.

Alternatively, Mikel Arteta could make some changes to the XI. Saka's equally efficient at both flanks and could be slotted down the right with Martinelli getting a place on the left wing. Maddison will play in the no. 10 role.

Azeez has already been called up to the senior squad and in a few years will play an important role at Arsenal if he keeps developing steadily.

Hopefully, Saliba will finally get into Arteta's plans and even if White is signed, he'll offer stern competition at right-sided centre-back.

If Leno eventually stays, he'll probably remain our first-choice keeper.
