Qatari businessman related to PSG family interested in buying Arsenal

Mohammed Saeed Alkaabi, a Qatari businessman with a direct relationship to the family that runs PSG, has confirmed that there is interest in purchasing Arsenal this year.

He tweeted: "I received a lot of questions about Arsenal yesterday, and some were upset with me because I did not answer them.

"In fact, I do not have any definite information, but it is said that there is Qatari interest in buying the club during this year, but the process will not be easy."

Current owner Stan Kroenke is not a favoured figure among fans mainly for his lack of investment in the club. Of course, that could change if a rich businessman from Qatar takes over.
