Ramsey opens up on Arsenal exit

Speaking to The Times, Aaron Ramsey explained: "The last few seasons have been up and down. I agreed to a contract they [Arsenal] proposed. Things went quiet for a few weeks. I was telling my agent, ‘Let’s do it,’ then all of a sudden the contract was no longer there.

"So there was nothing to sign or agree. Then January came and I had to make a decision whether I carried on and saw what happened or whether I agreed somewhere. I decided to [move] because there was nothing on the table [from Arsenal]. I don’t understand, I still don’t know what exactly happened."

Premier League clubs to hand hefty ban on pitch invaders

Any supporter who invades the pitch in a match or setting off any smoke bombs and pyrotechnics will be banned. Moreover, if a child invades the pitch, their parents would be subject to bans as well.
