'A moment that will be with me forever': Bukayo Saka opens up on England's Euro 2020 heartbreak

Speaking to the media about the Euro 2020 final, Bukayo Saka said: "That was quite a while ago but a moment that will be with me forever.

"I'm so blessed to have coaching staff here and and at Arsenal, my family and friends put their arm around me.

"The love from my family, my team-mates and the nation helped put me back in a good place. To feel that love from everyone around me feels really good.

"It made me believe in myself to go again so every time I get the chance to wear an England shirt I give 110 per cent so I can make the nation proud."

Saka had to deal with a barrage of disgusting racial abuse after missing a penalty for England in the Euro 2020 final shootout against Italy in the summer of 2021.

The Arsenal starlet used the experience to become a better man and a better player, establishing himself as a key player at club and international levels.
