Mirror: Shakhtar Donetsk lower asking price for Mykhaylo Mudryk (reliability: 4 stars)

Arsenal have received a massive boost in the race to sign Mykhaylo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk next summer.

According to the Mirror, the Ukrainian side have lowered their asking price for the 21-year-old forward from £90 million to £40 million plus add-ons.

Mudryk, who is often referred to as 'Ukrainian Neymar', has caught the eye of many elite European clubs thanks his performances in the Champions League group stages this season.

The Shakhtar star has scored three goals and provided two assists in six continental games to help his side finish first. His total tally of the 2022/23 campaign so far stands at ten goals and eight assists in 18 games.
