Japan exit World Cup

Japan have crashed out of the 2022 World Cup after losing 3–1 against Croatia on penalties in the Round of 16 clash on Monday (1–1 after extra time).

Takehiro Tomiyasu will now be given a short vacation before linking up with the rest of the Arsenal squad later this month as club football gets back underway.

Jesus back at Arsenal to see knee specialist

Gabriel Jesus is now back in London to see a knee specialist after being forced to withdraw from Brazil's World Cup squad last week.

Jesus injured his knee during the 1–0 defeat against Cameroon on Friday and, after being assessed by national team staff over the weekend, was ruled out for the rest of the tournament.

White won't join Arsenal in Dubai

Ben White, who left England's World Cup squad 'for personal reasons' earlier this month, will not be joining his Arsenal teammates in Dubai in near future.

It's still unclear whether the centre-back will link-up with his teammates at some point in December before the Premier League campaign gets back underway.
