De Gea refers to Wenger as 'the guy from Arsenal' as he talks United v Gunners rivalry

David De Gea made a really bizarre comment as he discussed the Arsenal v United rivalry.

"I hope so, we’re talking about one of the best managers in history, Sir Alex, and the guy from Arsenal," he said when asked if Ten Hag and Arteta could recreate the rivalry between Arsene Wenger and Sir Alex Ferguson, as quoted by the Mirror.

"It's different eras, different football, football has changed a bit, but let’s see. Both managers are really good now, they’re playing well and it’s going to be a nice game.

"Both teams have always been massive clubs, great teams, always playing to win trophies. So, it’s nice to play now when both teams are in a good shape and playing well."

Perhaps that's pre-match team talk sorted for Arteta, the lego-haired guy from Arsenal? Hopefully, the lads will use this as extra motivation to put a few goals past that Spanish keeper from United.
