Arteta speaks out on Smith Rowe
Emile Smith Rowe will have an important role to play for Arsenal this season, Mikel Arteta has confirmed after the Manchester United game on Sunday.
The Spaniard said: "The message to Emile I send him every single day: he needs to be fit and available, and if he is those things then a player of his quality, like this, he will play a lot of minutes."
Arsenal to battle Barcelona for Zubimendi
As per Fichajes, Arsenal are set to battle Barcelona to sign Martin Zubimendi this summer after having a transfer approach turned down by Real Sociedad in January.
The defensive midfielder, 23, reportedly didn't want to leave his club in the middle of the season but could be persuaded to move in six months' time.
Thierry Henry surprised by United
Thierry Henry said after the 3-2 win over Man United: "I am happy that Arsenal won and they deserved to win after the performance in the second half but boy, Manchester United look different under [Erik] Ten Hag.
"I will be honest, I am a big fan of Ten Hag. He is the coach I recommended to [Joan] Laporta at Barcelona after Ronald Koeman was sacked. He is a genius."
