Nathan Ake makes Premier League claim after Man City win over Arsenal

"They’re a top team. We saw that last year when we played them in January," Ake said after Man City's 1-0 win over Arsenal in the FA Cup.

"They were already looking really good and it was difficult against them. Today it showed again, they pressed us very high and it was difficult to play out.

"So yes, it’s tough to play against them - they are a top team and doing really well.

"We just have to keep focused on ourselves. As long as we do our thing, game by game, trying to win every one of them. Arsenal are doing so well this season but we still have to play them twice so yes, it’s up to us really."

Ake scored the winner as City advanced in the FA Cup. However, in the Premier League, Arsenal are five points clear with a game in hand.
