'He'll redefine our way of playing': Arteta says one new signing will be used as backup

Arteta said about Jakub Kiwior: “With Jakub, he is a young talent with incredible potential that is going to help redefine our way of playing.

"We didn’t have a backup centre-back for the whole season, and with Jorginho, he is a player that speaks for himself.

"When you look at his CV, his playing record, his quality – I think we’ve made some really good decisions there.”

Arsenal signed Kiwior from Italian club Spezia in the January transfer window.

Leandro Trossard and Jorginho also joined from Brighton and Chelsea respectively.
