Arsenal receive encouraging William Saliba injury update ahead of Leeds United clash

William Saliba is not suffering from a really nasty injury and will return to action for Arsenal next month, claims Football London journalist Chris Wheatley.

He suffered a hamstring injury in the loss to Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League Round of 16 second leg.

The prognosis for the Frenchman is that he’ll be out for around two more weeks for the Gunners.

Saliba might be in a race to regain full fitness before the Liverpool clash on April 9.

But he should be back soon after that if unable to make it for the trip to Anfield, meaning his injury isn’t as bad as initially feared.

Saliba is still unlikely to return to action against Leeds United on Saturday.
