Reiss Nelson close to signing new Arsenal contract with major pay-rise, details revealed

Arsenal have made a breakthrough in talks with Reiss Nelson over a new contract, claims the Daily Mail.

The Englishman initially rejected a short-term deal, but has now agreed to a new four-year contract.

Nelson is now also going to receive a significant increase in his salary, which includes a major bump from his current £60,000-a-week deal.

The Englishman attracted interest from clubs like Brighton, Fulham and AC Milan over a possible summer free transfer.

However, Reiss has agreed a new deal and will continue with the Gunners for the foreseeable future.
