Arsenal enjoyed a pretty prolific 2022/23 season in which they strongly challenged for the Premier League title.
The Gunners ended up coming up just short in the title race, but created fond memories for fans with impressive performances.
Arsenal also benefited from signing some important players in the campaign – including the likes of Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Leandro Trossard.
However, not all their signings were top-notch. Fabio Vieira has been named in the Daily Mail’s worst signings of the 22/23 season.
The Portuguese midfielder made 22 appearances in the Premier League for the Gunners, only scoring one goal and providing two assists.
Vieira will aim to bounce back strongly next season and be a solid alternative for Martin Odegaard in that no.10 role next season.
