Former Arsenal player hospitalised with 'acute brain disease'

FC Midtjylland have confirmed that Kristoffer Olsson is hospitalised after collapsing at his home last week.

Olsson joined Arsenal from Swedish side Norrkoping when he was only 16. He spent three years at the Emirates and made one senior appearance off the bench in a League Cup clash with West Brom.

The 28-year-old is being treated for an 'acute brain disease', as revealed in a statement by the Danish club.

Reacting to the sad news, Arsenal posted on X: "Get well soon, Kristoffer. We wish you a full and speedy recovery."
