'Don't think we should fear anyone': Odegaard sends message to Arsenal teammates about Harry Kane

Martin Odegaard has insisted that Arsenal have no reason to fear Harry Kane’s threat ahead of the Champions League quarter-finals against Bayern Munich.

Before the match, the Norwegian midfielder said: “I think we should respect him, but I don’t think we should fear anyone.  And we should focus on ourselves and the quality we have in our team, and that is all.

"[Kane is] a good player, of course, and I have played against him a few times and we know the quality he has in the box and he is also good in the link-up [play]. We are facing a good team on Tuesday.”

Kane has arguably been Bayern’s best player in what has been a disappointing season for the Bundesliga heavyweights, who seem set to lose their vice-grip over the league title. The Englishman has scored 38 goals and provided 12 assists in 37 appearances, including six goals in the Champions League.

With that being said, Arsenal’s impressive defensive record this season means there is no reason to fear Kane and the Gunners are going to play on the front-foot against Bayern to get their revenge on the German side.
