Santi Cazorla says there are similarities in his style of play and that of Arsenal skipper, Martin Odegaard. Speaking on the Gunners, he said: “Mikel Arteta has changed their mentality.
"When I was there, something was missing. Mikel changed that & they have an incredible squad. Arsenal are clear candidates for the league.”
He went on to praise Martin: “I love Odegaard & see myself in him — like him, I found a coach [Wenger] who gave me confidence.
"He made me captain before I could say ‘hola’ in English! Declan Rice reminds me of Aaron Ramsey, appearing everywhere, a brutal player.”
Odegaard who was Arsenal's Player of the Season last term has continued to lead the team this year.
