Hazard names Arsenal player who's better than Haaland

Speaking to talkSPORT, Eden Hazard said that Martin Odegaard is currently Norway's best player — and not Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.

The Belgian said: "Odegaard is the best player from Norway. Not Haaland. No, I'll say Odegaard because I've played with him [at Real Madrid]."

Maddison makes honest admission

In the penultimate game of the season, some Tottenham fans wished for their side to lose to Man City in hopes of preventing Arsenal from winning the Premier League title.

Reacting to the intense rivalry, Spurs midfielder James Maddison told talkSPORT: "Listen, I’m not a Tottenham fan. Deep down in my heart. I don’t have the hatred for Arsenal that Tottenham fans have.

"On the same page, I completely understand because I am a Coventry fan. Watching Coventry go deep in the FA Cup. That’s how I feel when I support a team and that’s how I know with the rivalry and stuff, so I kind of get it."

Arsenal preparing formal Zirkzee approach

According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, a tier-three source, Arsenal are preparing to make a formal offer to Bologna for striker Joshua Zirkzee.

The Gunners are reportedly set to submit a bid worth £40 million to make the 23-year-old their first possible signing of the summer.
