Mikel Merino's transfer to Arsenal is official with the midfielder joining from Real Sociedad for £28 million.
Reacting to the Spaniard's post on Instagram, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang wrote: 'Congratulations brother and good luck.'
The former Emirates skipper and Merino actually go way back, having played together at Borussia Dortmund for one year from 2016 to 2017.
Aubameyang maintains a good relationship with Arsenal despite leaving the Gunners on a sour note after losing his captaincy due to discipline issues.
