Havertz 9, Calafiori 7: Arsenal player ratings in PSG victory
Arsenal have defeated PSG 2-0 in the second Champions League 'league stage' game. Here is how we rated the players.
Havertz: 9/10. Thank you, Chelsea.
Saliba: 8.5. Wilo is the best centre-back in the world right now and he has proven that one more time.
Timber: 8.5. Excellent block on Barcola in the middle of the first half. Unbelievably good in the build-up.
Gabriel: 8.5. Competes with Saliba for the best centre-back in the world shouts. Rock-solid today.
Partey: 8. Thomas was in a boss mode today. His best game for Arsenal this season and one of the best in his career with the Gunners so far.
Trossard: 8. Great playmaking, replaced Odegaard well in the advanced playmaker position.
Raya: 8. Added a few nice saves to his highlight reel. Has genuinely established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the world right now.
Saka: 7.5. Brilliantly executed free-kick to propel Arsenal into a two-nil lead. Seeing Saka with the captain's armband kiss the Arsenal badge after scoring at the Emirates on a big Champions League night is the stuff of dreams.
Rice: 7.5. Absolutely cooked today, winning the midfield battle for the Gunners.
Martinelli: 7.5. Missed a few really good chances but his smart movement and unceasing desire to score helped Arsenal create these chances in the first place.
Merino: 7. Showed that he's an excellent tackler on his debut.

Kiwior: 7. Solid against the in-form Hakimi.
Calafiori: 7. Great defending against Hakimi shortly after the kick-off. Carries his unmistakable aura everywhere he goes, be it playing at left-back or right-back, moving inside or hugging the touchline. Caused unnecessary drama with Fabian Ruiz in the second half and could have done better at the back on a few occasions though.
Jesus: 5. The only negative thing today was Gabriel Jesus' selfishness after coming on.
Lewis-Skelly: N/A.
