'Make your apologies as loud as your disrespect': Arsenal fans hail Thomas Partey after PSG game
Thomas Partey was one of the best players in the 63 minutes he spent on the pitch against PSG in Arsenal's 2-0 victory.
The Ghanaian was not dribbled past a single time, made a tackle and three interceptions and made 27 accurate passes out of attempted 29.
The 31-year-old has often been a subject of criticism for his below-par performances but he showed that he is still capable of performing at the highest level in the PSG game.
"We lost control and started conceding chances as soon as Partey came off and Rice moved to the 6. Many fans won’t like to hear that though," one Gooner tweeted.
"May your apologies be as loud as the disrespect shown towards Thomas Partey," a second added. "Partey is getting a drug test after this game," a third joked.
"Thomas Partey delivered an excellent 65-minute display, controlled the game before he was subbed off. We cannot take this man for granted," another commented.
