The 18-year-old defender was involved in Saka's opening goal, and his performance earned praise from his teammate.
In the celebrations following the first goal, Saka revealed that he told Lewis-Skelly to have no doubts and play with confidence.
"I just said, like I said before the game, this is his level," Saka explained. "He needs to have no doubts and play with confidence."
Saka, who scored twice in the match, was impressed with Lewis-Skelly's display and believes he has a promising career ahead of him. "He needs to have no doubts," Saka said. "What he's doing, we see in training. Very bright future. Just needs to keep the same head he's got."
